Terms of Service
Last updated: August 2026
These terms govern engagements with BJ Cyber Solutions ("I", "me"), operated by Bonzer Jay, for security audits, penetration testing, and web development services. By submitting a request or engaging these services, you agree to the terms below.
Authorized testing only. All penetration testing and security assessments are performed only with explicit written authorization from the owner or authorized representative of the system being tested, and strictly within an agreed scope. Testing outside an agreed scope will not be performed.
Scope of Engagement
Each engagement begins with a discussion of your requirements. A scope, timeline, and estimated cost will be agreed before any paid work begins. Work outside the agreed scope may require a separate agreement.
No Guarantee of Absolute Security
Security audits and penetration testing identify weaknesses that are discoverable at the time of testing, using reasonable professional effort. No test, audit, or piece of software can guarantee a system will be completely free of vulnerabilities, now or in the future. Findings and recommendations are provided in good faith based on the agreed scope.
Client Responsibilities
- You confirm you have the legal right and authorization to request testing on the systems provided
- You will provide accurate information about the systems and environment being tested or built
- You are responsible for maintaining backups of your own systems and data
Confidentiality
Information shared during an engagement, including findings from security testing, is treated as confidential and is not shared with third parties without your consent, except where required by law.
Payment
Pricing is quoted per engagement based on scope and complexity — there is no fixed public price list. Payment terms will be confirmed before work begins. When online payment is enabled, transactions are processed securely through Paystack.
Limitation of Liability
BJ Cyber Solutions provides services on a professional best-effort basis. To the extent permitted by law, liability for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from the use of findings, recommendations, or delivered work is limited to the value of fees paid for the specific engagement in question.
Changes to These Terms
These terms may be updated from time to time. The "last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
